In 2014, when Red Hat announced that it had taken over the CentOS project to make it the benchmark enterprise open source distribution, we immediately started migrating all our servers to this distribution. In fact, CentOS is now the most widely used open source server distribution in server environments. Administrators from around the world place this level of trust in CentOS because it's 100% compatible with Red Hat Linux and its proverbial stability and maintainability. At ELbuild, we also appreciate CentOS for its minimalism and its timely security updates, resulting in our ability to offer clients steadier, faster services with greater data protection.
